So, since there is no study guide or questions available for this book as yet, I have decided to ask my own as they occur to me when reading. Please feel free to throw any out there that occur to you!
.) Why are we such a grim collective?? What I mean is, why is it that individually we can be cheerful and humorous, but as a group we are downright depressing. Why do you think that is?

.) Have you ever thought of a saint as having a "goofy" disposition. Being purposefully playful or humorous? If so, who and why? If not, why?
.) How do you feel when there is laughter in church? Does it feel natural or sacrilegious?
.) What do you think of the quote by Rahman on page 22, " not laughing means 'our knowledge is limited, and we don't understand the nature of reality.'"
